These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website desertkey.ae and your booking and stay at any property offered by Desert Key ("Desert Key", "we", "us" or "our"). By using our website or making a booking, you agree to these Terms.
Bookings
- A booking request becomes a confirmed reservation only once you receive a confirmation from us and any required payment has been made.
- You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate, complete information when booking.
- The number of guests must not exceed the maximum stated for the property, and only guests included in the booking may stay at the property.
Rates, Fees & Payment
- Prices are shown in UAE Dirhams (AED) and may include or be subject to applicable taxes, tourism fees and service charges.
- Payment is due as set out at the time of booking. We may require a refundable security deposit against damage or breach of these Terms.
Cancellations & Refunds
The cancellation policy applicable to your stay is the one displayed at the time of booking. Refunds, where due, are processed in accordance with that policy. No-shows and early departures are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.
Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in and check-out times are provided in your booking confirmation. In line with UAE law, all guests must present valid identification, and we are required to register guest details with the relevant authorities.
House Rules
- No parties or events are permitted, and noise that disturbs neighbours is not allowed.
- Smoking is not permitted inside the properties.
- Guests must respect the property, its contents, the building community rules and all applicable UAE laws.
- Pets are not permitted unless expressly agreed in writing.
Guest Responsibilities
You are responsible for the property during your stay and for any loss or damage caused by you or your guests beyond fair wear and tear. We may charge the cost of repair or replacement to your security deposit or payment method.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Desert Key is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss or damage to personal belongings, except where caused by our negligence. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Cancellation by Us
In rare circumstances, including events beyond our reasonable control, we may need to cancel or relocate a booking. Where this happens we will offer suitable alternative accommodation where possible, or provide a refund of amounts paid for the affected nights.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos and design, is owned by or licensed to Desert Key and may not be copied or used without our permission.
Privacy
Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the UAE.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
